A Polite Reminder About Pavement Parking & Bin Placement

The Parish Council would like to kindly remind all residents to please avoid parking on pavements wherever possible.

Many of the pavements in our village are already very narrow, and when vehicles or bins block them, it can make it extremely difficult — and sometimes unsafe — for people to get by. This particularly affects:

• Parents with prams or pushchairs
• People walking with small children
• Those using mobility scooters or wheelchairs

Blocked pavements can force pedestrians into the road, which creates unnecessary risks.

We also ask everyone to bring in bins as soon as possible after they’ve been emptied, to help keep footpaths clear and accessible for all.
